The creamy cheddar sauce is genuinely rich, not that watery stuff you get from boxed brands, and the chickpea elbows hold their shape without turning mushy. I dumped in a bit of extra pepper and it was gone in ten minutes flat.
The fact that it "practically makes itself" is no exaggeration—dinner was ready in the time it took to boil water, and the chickpea base kept everyone full without that heavy feeling. The cheddar taste is genuinely rich, not powdery or fake, which is rare for a boxed mac.
The creamy cheddar sauce is incredibly rich, and it really does come together in minutes, which is perfect for a weeknight. The pasta holds its shape well and doesn't turn to mush, so it felt like a proper homemade meal.
